BENCH-BAR leadership summits
Rabiej Litigation Law Center
The Center holds three annual bench-bar “summits” at various locations and law schools around the country. The Center invites 10-15 federal judges and 20-25 lawyers and other experts as panelists at each summit. Limited registrations are available for an additional 10-15 others. The exclusive nature of the summits promotes thorough discussions of substance.
The leadership summits provide a forum for deep dives into timely issues, which pose seemingly intractable procedural difficulties for the bench and bar, that result in unfairness and inefficiency, wasting time and money. The Center is nonpartisan. At the summits, we do not ask lawyers to abandon their adversarial positions and beliefs, but we do ask them to try to understand the other side’s concerns and remain open to considering compromises, which the Center can later develop into best practices and add them to its Best Practices Compendiums. Links to the planned summits are below.
